Fire leaves Kg Sileng Dayak family homeless

LUNDU, Dec 1: A house fire at Kampung Sileng Dayak has left a young family of four homeless.

Flames broke out in the small wooden house shortly before midnight yesterday when the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre received an emergency call at 11.36pm.

Firefighters battle the blaze engulfing the wooden house at Kampung Sileng Dayak, Lundu.

At the time of the incident, the husband, 34, his wife, 25, and their children who are eight and five-years-old respectively were not at home.
