SERIAN, Oct 17: A house and a 4WD vehicle were destroyed in a fire at Kampung Taee along Jalan Riih Baki here last night (Oct 16).
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak immediately mobilised a team from the Serian Station to the scene following a distress call received at 7.51pm.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that the fire had originated from a nearby farm and subsequently spread to the village house.
No residents were at home when the fire broke out.
