MIRI, Oct 26: A warehouse along Miri Bypass Road that was used to store a variety of household appliances and hardware items was about 90 per cent destroyed when a fire broke out this afternoon.

No one was hurt in the incident, but workers were spotted running out of the building when the alarm was raised. Huge plumes of black smoke fill the sky, visible even from the city centre, and several witnesses claimed they heard sounds of explosions.
