KUCHING, Aug 3: An empty house located at Jalan Kuning, Limbang was razed by fire last night.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received the alert at 11.21pm and rushed a team to the scene.
According to a statement from the state Bomba operations centre, there were no tenants in the house. The firefighters used three nozzles connected to a fire hydrant 40 feet away from the fire to put out the flames.
The fire was brought under control at 11.37pm, before firefighters began the ‘overhaul’ operation. No one was reported injured in the incident.
Bomba ended the operation at 1.07am. — DayakDaily
