MIRI, Aug 29: A two-storey house in Kampung Pujut Sg Adong was destroyed by a fire this morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) Sarawak responded to the emergency call at 9.46am and a team of firefighters from the Lopeng Station was mobilised to the scene on Jalan Pujut 2A.

The operation commander reported that the semi-permanent house sustained 70 per cent damage.
Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.
Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze, and the operation concluded at 12.05pm after ensuring that all potential ignition sources were addressed and the site was secured.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently under investigation. — DayakDaily
