KUCHING, Aug 1: The 55-year-old female suspect detained in relation to a recent murder case involving a dead body discovered inside a luggage bag in Lundu was released on bail.
High Court Senior Assistant Registrar Nuraini Ahmad who is sitting as Magistrate at Bau released the 55-year-old female suspect on RM5,000 bail with one surety.
The suspect was arrested on July 21 and was remanded for a total of 11 days. She will turn witness for this case under Section 118 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
