KUCHING, April 1: A female motorcyclist sustained injuries after an accident which caused her to fall into a ditch at Taman Pasir in Serian.
According to a report by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an emergency call was received at 11.48am today, and firefighters from the Serian station were deployed.

“Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved a black Yamaha 150 motorcycle. The female victim fell into a five-foot deep ditch on the left side of the road,” said the report.
Firefighters conducted a size-up and then examined and treated the victim, who injured her left leg.
Once an ambulance arrived, the victim was handed over to health ministry officers and brought to Serian Hospital. — DayakDaily
