MUKAH, Sept 23: A female motorcyclist lost her life the day after she was involved in an accident.
Mukah district police chief DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias said that the victim, Nawwarah Asfakhira Zahir, 25, at about 5.40am on September 21, was riding along KM2 Jalan Mukah-Oya when her machine rammed into the rear of a lorry which had broken down at the roadside.

“The victim was rushed to Mukah Hospital before being referred to Sibu Hospital,” he said.
Unfortunately, she succumbed to severe head, chest, and hand injuries at 9.36pm yesterday (Sept 22).
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
