Fazzrudin: Abang Jo open to suggestions, views from Sarawakian youth in Peninsular Malaysia

KUCHING, Oct 28: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is always open to the suggestions and views from Sarawakian youths who are currently residing in Peninsular Malaysia.

According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), this was said by the chief political secretary to Sarawak Premier, Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman during the Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak 2022 appreciation dinner held at Pullman Hotel here on Thursday night (Oct 27).

“Every year, Sarawakians in the peninsula look forward to the Lan Berambeh programme so that they can get more information about things that have been implemented in Sarawak.


“Through the Lan Berambeh programme, many things have been achieved including policies that were formed and implemented following the meeting of students in the peninsula with the Premier of Sarawak.

“Therefore, we are also directly involved to ensure that all suggestions and views of Sarawakian youths can be implemented,” he said.

Meanwhile, the caretaker Senior Minister of Public Works, Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof who is the patron of 2,000 Sarawak Volunteers and the chairman of the Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak 2022 Executive Committee in his speech expressed his gratitude to the parties involved in making the programme a success.

The appreciation dinner organised by Sarawak Volunteers aimed to thank the services and commitment of the agencies and departments involved in the Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak 2022 programme which was held in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 15.

Also present were Ukas acting director Samuel Simon, Sarawak Volunteers vice president Sulhi and secretary Khairul Anwar. — DayakDaily
