Fatimah’s ministry wins London Design Awards 2022 gold with iSarawakCare web app

KUCHING, Dec 7: The web application iSarawakCare, developed under the Ministry of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development is the gold winner of the London Design Awards 2022 – Digital Government Services.

Its Minister Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah received the award from Better Future founder and chairman Mark Bergin in London, the United Kingdom yesterday (Dec 6).

This award marks Sarawak’s first win in the London Design Awards for Digital Government Services. Among the past winners included IBM, Sony Pictures, Sydney Government Department of Justice, Vodafone, and Spotify.


Also present for the presentation ceremony were Welfare Department director Noriah Ahmad, Early Childhood Development head Salina, and SOCOE Sdn Bhd director JW Sam.

iSarawakCare offers convenient single-point access to government initiatives, assistance, services covering inter-generation spectrum, social equity in the community via a flexible, data-inter-operable system.

It is an online platform that allows the public to submit applications at any time anywhere while providing real-time updates of the government’s programmes.

The web application also allows the ministry to modify, amend, update, delete existing, or add future initiatives.
