DALAT, April 4: Dalat assemblywoman Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah remains as the Head of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) N56 Dalat.
According to a Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) report, she was returned unopposed for another term at the PBB Dalat General Meeting held at Dalat Unity Stadium on Saturday (April 2).
Fatimah, who is also the Minister for Women, Childhood, and Community Wellbeing Development (KWPK), said this demonstrated the spirit of unity and cooperation within the party.
She also officiated at the PBB Dalat Youth and Women General Meeting at the Dalat Welfare Complex Hall on the same day.
Meanwhile, Sait Seman and Zaidi Kassim were returned as Deputy Head and Vice Head respectively of PBB Dalat.
The positions of Youth Chief and Deputy Youth Chief were also uncontested, going to Jayakesuma Rosli and Abdul Halim Hamdian respectively.
Additionally, Muzalifah Mohd Anis and Sabrina Linjong are now the PBB Dalat Women’s Chief and Deputy Chief respectively.
“Party cooperation and unity are critical, as demonstrated by the election, in which the top leaders of both wings agreed that there would be no competition for the positions of chief and deputy chief as a result of their members’ consensus,” Fatimah said. — DayakDaily
