KUCHING, July 5: A 69-year-old man died in an accident that occurred at Pangkalan Lobang, Jalan Temusu in Mukah today.
According to a report from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), a call was received at 12.23pm, and firefighters from the Mukah station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the accident involved two lorries—one carrying a load of coal—with the victim, identified as Sulai Jamil, trapped.
At 1.42pm, firefighters managed to extricate the victim, who was pronounced dead by Health Ministry personnel, and was later handed over to the police for further action.
The operation ended at 2.08pm. — DayakDaily
