KUCHING, Feb 22: The Fast Culture 25 “Underground” prelude event is revving up Sarawak Plaza today with an electrifying showcase of 200 stunning rides, setting the stage for an even bigger spectacle this May.
Bringing together car enthusiasts from Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, and across Malaysia, the event isn’t just about horsepower—it’s about putting Sarawak on the global automotive map!
Fast Culture founder Adibazli Affendi shared that the event features an auto show, the ‘Kenyalang Slingshot’ competition, thrilling lucky draws, and dynamic musical performances.
“This is the first time we’re featuring live music performances at our show, with Noh Salleh headlining tonight alongside Biak Ijal and Adruce Azman,” he announced during a press conference at Sarawak Plaza.
Adding to the excitement, attendees had the chance to win exciting prizes, including an electric scooter, through multiple rounds of lucky draws.

Beyond the automotive displays, the event also spotlighted the ‘Kenyalang Slingshot’—a modern twist on a traditional Sarawakian folk sport.
The competition will see participants taking 23 precision shots, with winners walking away with cash prizes and medals. Visitors could join the action for just RM5, with additional lucky draws and consolation prizes up for grabs.
Running until 10pm tonight, entry to the prelude event is free for All Access FC25 ticket holders. Walk-in attendees can enter for RM30, while those keen on the lucky draw can opt for a RM50 ticket that includes one lucky draw entry. Alternatively, lucky draw tickets alone are available for RM30.
The night’s highlight will be the grand auto rad show, as all 200 modified cars roll out of Sarawak Plaza in a high-energy parade through Kuching’s streets to cap off the event.

At the same time, Fast Culture 25’s main event is set to take over Sarawak Stadium on May 3 and 4, and Adibazli promises a large-scale spectacle combining an automotive festival with a high-voltage music festival.
The two-day festival will feature major artists like Hujan, Joe Flizzow, OAG, and No Good, alongside local talents Adruce Azman, Biak Ijal, and Drasska Band.
Adding even more fuel to the fire, the grand lucky draw prize for the May event is a fully decked-out Toyota Alphard with sleek 19-inch Japan rims!
“For the automotive showcase, we’ve already locked in 500 cars, but we’re pushing for 1,000—setting a new record for Kuching,” Adibazli revealed.
“As for festivalgoers, we’re targeting between 5,000 and 15,000 attendees, based on our past event numbers. Last year, Fast 24 saw over 6,000 paying attendees, with the total crowd reaching nearly 10,000.”
Ticket prices start at RM99 for a one-day pass and RM180 for a two-day pass (standing zone). Rock zone tickets are RM160 for a single day and RM300 for both days. However, a special promo at the prelude event offers a two-day standing pass for RM100 and a rock zone pass for RM200.
Also present at the press conference were Sarawak’s Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED) permanent secretary Morshidi Fredrick, Kenyalang Slingshot coordinator Hamizal Rosli, and Fast Culture 25 music festival director Adib Azman. – DayakDaily
