MIRI, March 12: Fast action by a group of Good Samaritans helped apprehend a 36-year-old jumper who attempted to flee rescuers at the Jalan Miri-Pujut flyover tonight.
The Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) was alerted at 8.39pm and responded to the incident, where they found the man standing on the edge of the flyover barrier, seemingly prepared to jump.

Firefighters attempted to calm him down, but he suddenly fled onto the main road.
With the help of bystanders, he was quickly cornered and apprehended before being handed over to the police for further action. — DayakDaily
