KUCHING, May 6: The family members of six Sarawakian individuals who were duped by fake job offers in Cambodia are seeking the help of Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang to bring the victims back safely.

According to Lo, there have been allegations that the victims have been mistreated, which has caused worry among their family members.

“I feel disheartened that this matter has happened to the people in my constituency. I have advised them to make a police report, which they have done,” he told reporters during a press conference held at Batu Kitang Constituency Service Center in 6th Mile, here today.

Lo has also appealed to the government to coordinate with the Malaysian embassy in Cambodia to use every means possible to help bring those six individuals back safely.
