KUCHING, Oct 10: Senior Works Minister Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof described Budget 2023 as comprehensive not only for Sarawak but also for Malaysia in preparing for eventualities regarding the current global economic position.

Commenting on Budget 2023, Petra Jaya MP Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof said the budget would also include support and assistance in terms of financial assistance to needy groups such as the B40 and M40.

“This is to ensure that our society can face challenges in the coming year,” he told reporters after officiating at the Rindok Ati programme with the media and Petra Jaya community at Kampung Pinang Jawa Community Hall in Petra Jaya today.

On the same note, Fadillah, also Petra Jaya MP, lauds the budget’s focus on development and providing basic amenities in rural and city areas.

He said it includes projects where RM95 billion is allocated explicitly for development expenditure.

He added that these new projects would help drive the country’s economy and continue mega projects alongside new projects. — DayakDaily
