KUCHING, Nov 16: Asteel Group at Demak Laut here closed one of its factories after an employee tested positive for Covid-19 on November 15.
Asteel Group in a statement revealed the factory at Demak Laut Industrial Park is closed today for sanitisation and will resume operations tomorrow.
Yesterday, the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a press statement revealed an employee of a private company had tested positive for Covid-19 after experiencing fever, fatigue and headache on November 14.
The employee took a Covid-19 swab test at a health clinic on November 14 and results came back positive on November 15. The employee resided in the dormitory provided by the company.
Meanwhile, Asteel Group disclosed that all Persons-Under-Investigation (PUI) at the company are undergoing quarantine. — DayakDaily
