KUCHING, Feb 11: Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) is currently extending the roof canopy at 7th Mile Town Square in Kota Sentosa.
Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Kota Sentosa Branch chairman Wilfred Yap recently attended a simple ceremony to erect the signboard at the site to inform the business community and residents that the contractor for the upgrading work had been appointed.
The RM300,000 project is scheduled for completion in May this year.
Yap, who is also SUPP Public Complaints Bureau chief, said he would monitor the upgrading work to ensure they are done to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
He thanked Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian and MPP chairman Lo Khere Chiang for helping in securing funding from the state government after the matter was raised by SUPP Kota Sentosa Branch and the bureau on behalf of the business community and residents of Kota Sentosa. — DayakDaily
