Today’s event saw the availability of 500 Petros LPG cylinders for the exchange process, organised jointly by the Puncak Borneo service center and DUN 19 service center.

Dr Jerip, who is also the Mambong assemblyman, highlighted the importance of such programmes in addressing public concerns regarding the exchange process.

He reiterated that the price of Petros cylinders remains consistent at RM26.60 per cylinder, acknowledging potential price discrepancies in rural areas due to transportation costs.

Meanwhile, Puncak Borneo MP Datuk Willie Mongin echoed the necessity of such programmes to dispel rumors of difficulties in exchanging gas cylinders.

He pledged to collaborate with other assemblymen under Puncak Borneo to organise similar programmes in response to any future complaints received. — DayakDaily
