KUCHING, Mar 9: A cashier of Everrise Pending outlet, Kuching has been tested positive for Covid-19, resulting in the temporary closer of the outlet today.
The cashier who was last reported to work on Mar 6, was tested positive on Mar 7.
In an announcement dated yesterday, the management of Everrise explained that the staff identified as close contact with the infected person had undergone swab tests and been sent home for quarantine.
As a precautionary measure, the management said the outlet concerned is closed today for deep cleaning and thorough sanitisation purpose.
“The health and safety of our customers and staff are always our priority and we urge everyone to take their own precautionary measures to protect themselves from Covid-19,” said the management.
The Pending outlet, the management said, will resume its business tomorrow (Mar 10). — DayakDaily
