My favourite styles of country music is traditional blue grass, anything with a banjo, mandolin, pedal steel and the fiddle, that’s what I am drawn to,” said Diamond Dolly in a recent video interview.
Her favourite singers are Allison Krauss, Johnny Cash and the more traditional Dolly Parton.
“I chose to represent Dolly Parton as a tribute act because I am in awe of her and her music, she comes from a unique background and she is a self-made woman,” she added.

I believe there are similarities between our countries as where I’m from in England, it is also a multi-cultural and multi-racial place as I live among a large mixed community of Pakistani, Irish, Afro-Caribbean people and more. I look forward to seeing the mix of culture in Malaysia and hope learn more about it.”
