Enigmatic cross-shaped cloud in the sky captivates residents along Sg Tinjar, Baram

KUCHING, Jan 24: A cloud in the shape of a cross appeared in the sky near Sungai Tinjar, Baram last Sunday, evoking a sense of awe among residents in the remote regions of northern Sarawak.

Striking images capturing this extraordinary moment circulated on social media, which was shared by a Facebook user who goes by the name of ‘Cikgu Andreas Hong’.

In his post, Cikgu Andreas said the cross-shaped formation in the clouds was visible from several villages along Sungai Tinjar.


He mentioned that the shared photos, with one featuring a man offering a thumbs-up gesture before the cross as others villagers hung out in the fields, were taken from Kampung Long Loyan.

“This is real, not edited,” he added.
