KUCHING, Jan 11: A compact vehicle at Taman Flora Indah of Jalan Arang is partially destroyed after its engine bay catches fire.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation center today, immediately after receiving a distress call from Malaysian Emergency Rescue Services (MERS) 999 at 2.26pm, Bomba Batu Lintang were deployed to the location.
Following arrival, firefighters proceeded with fire extinguishing operation and successfully put out the flame at 2.45pm.
The vehicle’s engine bay was 70 per cent destroyed in the incident. – DayakDaily
