EMCO ends in several areas in Saratok, Sibu, Selangau, Kanowit, Bintulu and Sarikei

KUCHING, May 19: The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has decided to end the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) at several areas in Saratok, Sibu, Selangau, Kanowit, Bintulu and Sarikei.

SDMC said those areas include three locations in Saratok, three in Kanowit, three in Selangau, two in Bintulu, one in Sarikei and one in Sibu.


Areas in Saratok where the EMCO has come to an end are Kolej Tingkatan Enam, Kampung Tanjung Hulu and Kampung Melango Lama.

In Selangau, the EMCO has ended in Rh Lenggang, Nangga Tajam, Batang Oya, Rh Umin, Sungai Nirai and Rh Ambrose Ramping.

In Kanowit, the EMCO ended in Rh Inyang, Sungai Ranan, Rh Sali, Nanga Nunggun and Rh Seliau, Sungai Tuah.

In Bintulu, the EMCO has ended in Blok G, H and R of Sungai Plan Flat and Blok D of Taman Li Hua Flat.

In Sarikei, the EMCO ended in Rh Setia, Ulu Minus while in Sibu, the EMCO ended in Rh Monica Giri, Salim-Stabau.

The EMCO was initially enforced from May 6 to May 19 except for EMCO at Kolej Tingkatan Enam in Saratok which was first implemented from April 23 to May 6 and extended to May 20. — DayakDaily
