EMCO declared for five places in Sebauh, Tatau, Bintulu, and Kota Samarahan

KUCHING, May 23: The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) today declared Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in five localities in Sebauh, Tatau, Bintulu, and Kota Samarahan.

SDMC in a press statement today, said the EMCO will be implemented in Rh Joseph Rungkai in Batu 8, Labang, Sebauh, Rh Bennat Jumat Ujan in Sg Kelawit, Tatau, and Sungai Plan in Bintulu, from May 21 until June 3, 2021.

ā€œWhile for Kampung Tanjung Bundong Tradisi, and Kampung Tanjung Bundong Phase 1 and 2, EMCO will start on May 24 until June 6, 2021,ā€ it said.


In the same statement, SDMC also announced the end of EMCO, encompassing Bintulu (seven), Pakan (two), Sebauh (two), and one each for Kapit, Tatau, and Sarikei.

According to the statement, the EMCO for Block D, Taman Li Hua Flat and Block G Sungai Plan Flat in Bintulu, and Rh Matthew Selutan, Sg Sarau in Sebauh, ended on May 20 (Thursday).

Eleven other areas namely the Balleh Putai Hydroelectric construction site in Kapit, Rh Empeni Budom in Lubok Putan Sarikei, Rh Jangi Jimbai in KM1 Jalan Ulu Sebauh, Bintulu, Samling Reforestation workers quarters in Sg Mas, Bintulu, Rh Musa Asit in Batu 17, Bintulu, Rh Gerena Pi in Batu 17, Bintulu, Block Q in Sg Plan Flat in Bintulu, Rh Jeli Gaun in Sungai Maput, Tatau and Rh Sulu Jambai in Sg Senga in Sebauh,Ā saw their EMCO ended today.

For Rh Abi in Ulu Amut and Rh Gandai in Tubai Buah, both in Pakan, their EMCO will end on May 24, 2021 (Monday).

Meanwhile, SDMC also declared the extension of EMCO at two longhouses namely Rh Empin, Skim B, Bintangor, Meradong from May 24 to 25, and Rh Elly Kerangan Langgir Wak in Pakan from May 24 to June 1. ā€” DayakDaily
