KUCHING, Sept 7: The Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) will be organising an ‘Education and Career Fair 2022’ at Tapah community hall in Serian on Sept 9 and 10 from 9am to 5pm.
According to a media release today, MEITD Minister Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn is expected to officiate at the fair on Sept 9 at 11am.
This fair aims to give exposure to students, youth and parents regarding courses or programmes offered by public institutions as well as technical and skills training centres.
In addition, it also hopes to provide exposure regarding the available channels to seek job opportunities in the private sector or industry.
There will be an exhibition site with booths consisting of higher education institutions, skill training institutions and also agencies that manage the recruitment of employees offered in the industry.
Apart from the exhibition, MEITD will also put up a mini planetarium where visitors can experience the atmosphere of outer space and watch videos and simulations of the night sky.
MEITD invites the public to take this opportunity to visit the fair, which admission is free, to get broad information on various courses as well as explore the many career possibilities. — DayakDaily
