MIRI, Jan 4: An automobile repair shop was damaged in an early morning fire at Jalan Usahawan 13, Padang Kerbau, today.
According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) spokesperson, a call on the incident was received at 1.49am and firefighters from the Lopeng and Miri Central stations were despatched.

Upon arrival, the operations commander reported that the incident involved two shoplots used for the automobile repair shop.
The building, estimated to be 40 x 35 square feet, was approximately 70 per cent damaged. In addition, five vehicles were destroyed while four were saved.
No casualties were reported in the incident. — DayakDaily
