KUCHING, April 1: First 80 per cent of passengers booking an AirAsia flight get to purchase their tickets at reasonable prices while the balance 20 per cent may have to pay more under the exclusive category.

This is according to AirAsia Berhad Malaysia chief executive officer (CEO) Riad Asmat who revealed that AirAsia air fares are based on dynamic pricing, which is also adopted by Malaysia Airlines and other major airlines.

He thus advised AirAsia’s would-be passengers to plan their journey well, book flights as early as possible, and not within a day or two before departure to avoid expensive tickets.
