KUCHING, July 20: Dato Seri Tiong King Sing disbursed RM2.2 million in allocations to 152 recipients in Sibu on Thursday (July 17).
The recipients of the funds included associations, clubs, Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs), and schools.
Of the total, RM1.55 million was disbursed to 137 recipients under the Special Project Allocation (PPK), while RM660,000 went to 15 recipients under the Minister’s Special Allocation (PKM).
In addition to the financial allocation, personal contributions were also made in the form of laptops and printers for five JKKKs.
A hamper was also presented to the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Dudong Youth Wing, as well as Ensure Gold milk to Chee Moi King.
Tiong, who is Dudong assemblyman, Bintulu MP, and federal Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, was represented by his special duties officer, Agatha Ting. — DayakDaily
