KUCHING, Sept 7: The dual carriageway Jalan Kuching-Sri Aman, from Kampung Entulang to Sg Entulang Bridge, of the Pan Borneo Highway is open to traffic today.
In an advisory notice, Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak advised motorists to exercise extra caution when approaching and driving along the area, as the opening is still in progress.
With the road layout expanded to four lanes for twoway traffic and ongoing construction work.
It is essential for road users to comply with all traffic management instructions and cooperate fully to ensure their safety.
Most importantly, motorists are reminded to use the designated P-turns, instead of making illegal U-turns, for their safety.
In the event of any changes to the date, time, or affected areas, the contractor will provide updates to the public.
Road users are also encouraged to plan their journey ahead towards their destinations.
