Acting on a tip-off, police arrested a 27 year-old man inside a car in a parking space near a condominium at BDC here.

“The team conducted a body search and checked the suspect’s car; however they did not find anything unlawful,” said Sahar.

The suspect later led the police to the condominium unit where he was staying.

Inside the condo, the team arrested two female suspects from China, both aged 28.

The male suspect then led the police to a room where they found ketamin (233g); a mixture of Ecstasy powder and fruit juice (135.7g) and Erimin 5 (64 pills or 18.1 g).

The police also seized a car valued at RM25,000; a gold necklace and a gold locket worth around RM4,800 and a gold ring (RM1,200).

The male suspect tested positive for drugs, while the two females tested negative.

The three suspects have been remanded from October 11-17 by the Kuching Magistrates Court to facilitate police investigations.

All three of them have no previous criminal records.

The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, Section 39A(1) of the same act and Section 15(1) (a). — DayakDaily
