KUCHING, May 5: A driver in a self-accident on Jalan Dogan here escaped without injuries in the early hours of the morning today.
Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said it received a call concerning the incident at 3.24am and immediately dispatched a rescue team from the Tabuan Jaya station to the scene.

The operation commander reported that it was a self-accident involving a Nissan vehicle, with the victim still trapped inside.
The rescue officers initiated a road traffic accident (RTA) operation, breaking the rear window of the vehicle to extricate the victim.
Following the victim’s rescue, they were then transported to the hospital for further treatment. The operation was concluded at at 3.59am. — DayakDaily
