KUCHING, Oct 8: A driver carrying passengers dangerously on the roof of the vehicle along Jalan Matang has been slapped with two summonses.
In a media statement issued today, Padawan police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the Padawan police traffic investigation and enforcement department managed to identify the driver of the vehicle.
“The driver involved has been subjected to two summonses under Rule 15D LN177/59 of the Road Traffic Rules (not taking care of passenger safety) and Section 25 of the Road Transport Act 1987 (no driving license).
“PDRM advises the public not to do any stunts or actions that could endanger the lives of themselves, passengers, and other road users,” he said.
