SIBU, Nov 14: A 40-year-old man was pinned inside the car, while the driver suffered minor injuries after being involved in a self accident at Jalan Bukit Lima, yesterday.
A team of 10 firefighters rushed to the scene after the Fire and Rescue Department operation center received a report at 11.20pm.
“The victim suffers injury to the leg, while being pinned at the passenger seat, and the driver managed to escape from the vehicle after it lost control and rammed into a road sign.
“They were coming from Sibu city centre,” the statement said.
Firefighters managed to pull the victim out from the vehicle and both individual were sent to Sibu Hospital for further treatment. — DayakDaily
