KUCHING, Dec 12: Dreammaster hopes to offer more than just bedding set and furniture.
Its director, Brian Ong, said what he hoped to achieve is to introduce to Sarawak a brand new concept similar to famous stores such as West Elm in the United States and Natuzzi in Italy.
“We are to change the way consumers purchase furniture. We hope to share with them that the staging of products is extremely important. Furniture such as bedding sets, sofas, dining tables are not seen as individual pieces anymore but in totality with the whole space.
“How the furniture looks in a space with different flooring, wall paint and pendant lighting are what we hope to share with them. They can come to our showroom here at Milan Square (in Jalan Wan Alwi) and bring back our ideas if they like.”
He said apart from manufacturing mattresses and bed frames, Dreammaster was also into importing quality furniture.
“We also bring you export quality furniture that can be often be found in homes in Europe, UAE, Japan, Australia and other parts of the world.
“All our products are carefully chosen and handpicked to suit our local market.”
Fully aware that price is a crucial factor for many customers, Ong said Dreammaster had opted to offer a wide range of furniture to meet customers’ purchasing power.
“Buying big tickets items like furniture requires a significant amount of investment, so we have not just high-end items but also products that are very affordable to suit every price points. We hope to satisfy all customers who walk into our showroom to look for something to make a beautiful home for their loved ones.”
Dreammaster Sleep Gallery at Milan Square consists of four storeys with its showroom spanning more than 25,000 sq ft to showcase furniture from bedding to sofas, coffee tables to dining sets, pendant lighting to paintings and others.
There is also a newly launched ‘Dreammaster Junior’ section featuring baby cots and toddler beds from Papacare as well as mattresses for children.
There are also bunk beds on display. To cater for children, Dreammaster has set up a playground for customers’ children to play safely while the customers do their shopping.
“We have decided to venture into kids furniture as there are very limited options for parents in Sarawak.
“We will soon be launching our ‘Dreammaster Workspace’ line that features office furniture such as ergonomic and leather office chairs, conference tables, fully customisable office system and more.
“In conjunction with our grand opening, lots of one-off grand opening special offers, including new arrivals as well as our customers’ favourite pieces from our Roadshow Only Deals, are on offer.”
He said Dreammaster was now focusing on its present location at Milan Square, where it merged its outlets previously located in CityOne Megamall and Vivacity Megamall under one roof.
