KUCHING, May 1: Chinese education is for all Sarawakians regardless of race, said Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian.
Besides education, language, and culture, Dr Sim said that Chinese education also focuses on the community’s roots, wisdom, and values.
“That is why education is so important,” he said when attending today’s Sarawak Chinese Golf Charity Tournament held at Sarawak Golf Club in Jalan Stadium, Petra Jaya.

He noted that emphasising wisdom and values will enable Sarawak to become the wealthiest State in Malaysia.
“By 2030, Sarawak will be not only rich but also proud. It depends on you, me, and everyone else. Make it happen,” he added. — DayakDaily
