KUCHING, May 10: Pakatan Harapan chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will face legal consequences if the latter is guilty of committing crimes.
He said PH was not there to seek revenge but implement the rule of law in the country.
Dr Mahathir said this when asked during the media conference which was broadcast live on his social media page at midday today.
He said “we are not seeking revenge” but “the law will be fully implemented in this country”.
“There was the rule of law. People are arrested for committing a crime. And now, we do exactly what is provided by the law.
“The rule of law will be fully implemented and if the law says Najib has done something wrong, then he will have to face the consequences,” said Dr Mahathir. — DayakDaily
