KUCHING, Nov 6: Incumbent for Mambong Datuk Dr Jerip Susil believes that the people in the area are well aware of the various developments brought by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS).
In view of this, he said the people will give GPS a fresh mandate in the coming state election.
“When we talked about development in the area, the people can see for themselves what has been brought by GPS.
“So if you ask us if we are prepared for the election, yes, we are prepared and ready because we have been working since the last state election ended,” Dr Jerip told reporters today.
He earlier officiated at the handing over of agricultural inputs under the Agriculture Facilitation Fund (AFF) programme at Kampung Asum in upper Padawan, organised by Department of Agriculture (DOA).
On the registration of 18-year-olds, Dr Jerip said the Election Commission (EC) is carrying out automatic registration. — DayakDaily
