Dog licenses now available online – DBKU

KUCHING, Nov 3: Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) residents can now apply for their dog’s license online via Dog License System.

In order to obtain a dog license, DBKU said that applicants need to register and complete personal information at SarawakID website at http://sarawakid.sarawak.gov.my (for those who have yet to register).

Secondly, applicants are also required to fill in details of their pet dog as well as upload its photo to http://doglicense.sarawak.gov.my.

The completed forms together with other supported documents can be submitted online to DBKU for approval.

Applicants will be informed to collect the license and dog tag at DBKU Licensing Counter at Jalan Satok or Jalan Depo in Semariang here.

DBKU said that this initiative was in line with state government’s efforts to provide a more efficient service delivery system for the public.

With the system, DBKU hopes it will expedite the licensing applications and to facilitate the collection of dogs population data as part of the strategy to control rabies disease in Sarawak.

Dog owners can download the form and application criteria from its website at http://dbku.sarawak.gov.my.
