KUCHING, June 8: An exhibition themed ‘Dinosaurs in Borneo’ will be open to the public from June 10 to July 12 at Kuching South City Hall (MBKS) New Norms Park, from 1pm to 10pm.

Visitors will be charged an entrance fee of RM5 for children below 12-years-old and RM10 for each adult.

MBKS mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng who visited the venue after work today said he will be giving away free entrance tickets for those who attend his Facebook live session this Saturday (June 11, 2022) if viewership reaches 300.

With the aid of special lighting effects, music and sounds, the dinosaurs from various eras are brought to life and will also feature mechanical movements.

Apart from the main exhibit, there is also a ‘Panda World’ exhibition where statues of pandas of different sizes are featured.

“It is quite educational and it will be a fun place for parents to bring their children,” said Wee.

He promised to bring more events and functions to Kuching city to revitalise the local economy.

“There will be more functions and events to come. Just look at the canopies that are now being set up at Dewan Mesyarakat,” said Wee while visiting the exhibition grounds. — DayakDaily
