KUCHING, March 23: Development agencies have been urged to continue supporting the Sarawak government’s aspirations to become a high-income State by 2030.

“Development agencies like the Greater Kuching Coordinated Development Agency (GKCDA) and the Greater Bau Development Master Plan have outlined various development plans for basic facilities to support the people’s economic ventures to increase their income in line with the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030,” he said.

This was said during a Bisingai Townhall 2025 session organised by the Association of Research and Development Movement of Singai Sarawak (REDEEMS) in Bau on March 22.

At the same time, the Tasik Biru assemblyman also expressed the need for skilled manpower in Sarawak, where the State government is currently focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. — DayakDaily
