KUCHING, Mar 19: A deputy principal of a private school in Kuching has been tested positive for Covid-19.
Lodge Group of Schools in a circular to parents said the deputy principal of its kindergarten had been confirmed was positively diagnosed with the disease and that she has been admitted to hospital.
The school said the hospital authority was in the process of ascertaining how she may have contracted the disease.
It said parents were urged to monitor their children’s temperature and health condition at all times.
In the meantime, Lodge Group of Schools said it was undergoing sanitising of all its buildings.
The school pointed out that all staff had been working from home since March 18.
It noted online learning via Google classroom and electronic mail will continue as per director’s circular on March 17.
Lodge Group of Schools said it will comply with all the directives from the State Disaster Management Committee and health authorities.—DayakDaily
