Deputy Premier visits KL’s M’sia Grand Bazaar, Lalaport; seeks collab with agency to market S’wakian products

KUCHING, April 1: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan visited the Malaysia Grand Bazaar and Lalaport under the Urban Development Agency (UDA) in Kuala Lumpur today.

According to a media release, the visit is to seek collaboration between the Ministry for International Trade, Industry, and Investment (Mintred) Sarawak and UDA, which is an agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperative (Medac), to help Sarawakian entrepreneurs promote and market their products in Peninsular Malaysia and international markets.

During the visit, Awang Tengah, who is also minister for Mintred, was briefed on the main functions of UDA in real estate development and asset management.

He also took the opportunity to visit Sarawakian entrepreneurs operating at the premises.

Mintred advisor Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais were also present during the visit. — DayakDaily
