Deputy Premier expects more foreign leaders to visit S’wak due to region’s stability, growth

KUCHING, Apr 17: Deputy Premier of Sarawak Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian anticipates more foreign leaders to visit Sarawak due to the region’s harmonious stability, growth, green economy policies, and Sarawak First initiatives.

According to Dr Sim in a video posted on social media today, Sarawak First has implemented several initiatives since 2018, including Sarawak Trade Offices overseas, Sarawak’s Development Bank, Sarawak Pay (now known as SPay Global), Sarawak Coastguard (SCG), TVS, and others.

“However, we have recently moved forward in terms of political independence and financial independence, and after 2022, Sarawak’s stability (improves) in comparison to the rest of Malaysia, in which the DPP (division, polarisation, and politicking).


“For all Sarawakians, we are very proud to be Sarawakians, but we must remain united, come together, and continue to jaga Sarawak baik-baik (take good care of Sarawak),” he said. — DayakDaily
