Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni distributed the porridge to some residents in Kampung Tabuan and Pasar Bako recently.

According to a statement today, the Demak Laut Ihya Ramadan programme is an annual programme started since 2011, started by Dr Hazland, who is also Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability.

Contributions were presented also to the ‘asnaf’ (less fortunate) group including the elderly, single mothers, the disabled (OKU), orphans and low-income families.

The organisation of this programme is done in a cooperative manner that can foster the value of teamwork and bond between the villagers, especially in the month of Ramadan. ā€” DayakDaily
