KUCHING, July 15: The Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) today announced that all recreational parks and open spaces under its jurisdiction are open for public use.
DBKU in a statement today, said the reopening of recreational parks and open spaces is in line with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set under the Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) for Sarawak.
Meanwhile, under the Phase 2 of the NRP, the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) announced that non-contact sporting activities such as jogging, cycling, golfing and light exercises are allowed.
The previous restrictions which limited such activities to within each person’s own neighbourhood areas have been lifted and public parks have been reopened to the public with compliance to SOPs. — DayakDaily
