Major (Rtd) Moses Ripai

KAPIT, July 1: Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB) vice-president Major (Rtd) Moses Ripai calls on all the Dayaks to regroup especially the young reformists and intellectual dayaks under the party.

He said that PBDSB is preparing something big for the Dayak community.

“Let us set aside our differences as we Dayaks had this kind of tribal roots among us since our ancestors’ days.

“This is our real challenge of unity within us and it is becomes a ‘tool’ to screw us. What we really hope for is to change (this) kind of mindset.

“It’s not (as it) was but we can give a try. As for that also, we hope to stand in all Dayak seats in the upcoming Sarawak state election,” said Moses in a statement.

He said there are more one million Dayaks (sic) population.

“So, why wait? Let us make PBDSB great again to enable us to achieve the dream of our people that thirst for development, equality and justice,” he added and quoted “bedau alah” (not defeated yet), a term used constantly by late PBDSB president, Cobbold John Lusoi . — DayakDaily
