DAP will control Anwar if PH takes over Putrajaya, says Minos

KUCHING, Nov 21: In Pakatan Harapan (PH), Democratic Action Party (DAP) is the strongest party and DAP will control PH prime minister candidate Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Local political pundit and former Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) deputy info chief Dato Peter Minos was quick to remind Sarawakians what PH had done to Sarawak during its 22-month of administration.

“Our Premier (Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg) did the right thing, very wise decision. Gabungan Parti Sarawak cannot forget that PH/DAP almost ‘killed’ Sarawak when previously in federal power for 22 months.

“So no PH for GPS. Also DAP used racial and religious instigations and provocations in the recent GE15 (the 15th General Election) which GPS detested and abhorred.

“No way GPS forgets DAP’s sins and wrongdoings against Sarawak. So naturally GPS goes for PN (Perikatan Nasional) and (Tan Sri Muhyiddin (Yassin),” said Minos in a statement today.

He said PN and Muhyiddin have to get a minimum of 112 MPs on their side to form the federal government and PN has chosen Barisan Nasional (BN) as one of its partners, which GPS has no say in.

Minos also highlighted Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s (Bersatu) statement that PN and Muhyiddin had submitted more than 112 statutory declarations to the King to form the next federal government with Muhyiddin as the prime minister.

As for BN, he opined, support for United Malays National Organisation (Umno) president Dato Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was lacking and many are calling for Zahid to resign as BN and Umno chairman as they render support for PN and Muhyiddin.

He believed that GPS wants the good ones in Umno and not the court cluster group, which is a public sentiment.

“GPS of course wants best terms and best deals for Sarawak from PN and the federal government when it forms. That includes full return of Sarawak’s powers enshrined under the Malaysian Agreement (MA63) and more money from tje federal government for development.

“Already the Premier wants at least 10 per cent allocation per year from the federal budget, instead of merely and only five per cent plus like now.

“We are confident we can get the above from PN and Muhyiddin and not from PH and DAP and Anwar,” said Minos, claiming that PH and DAP were well noted for renegading promises.

“In PH, DAP is the biggest and strongest party. DAP will control Anwar. DAP will control the federal government if they are in government.

“This is what GPS detests. Sarawak does not want DAP to be king and emperor in Malaysia and the federal government. We cannot side with a bad racist and religious bigot and instigator like DAP,” said Minos. — DayakDaily
