DAP man urges those who need help applying for BKM to visit party’s mobile service centres

KUCHING, Jan 10: Michael Kong, special assistant to Sarawak Democratic Action Party (DAP) chairman Chong Chieng Jen, has urged those eligible for the Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia (BKM) financial assistance to visit its mobile service centres.

He said the DAP Stampin Parliamentary team will be setting up its mobile service centres and booths this month at the following locations and times to assist those eligible to apply for BKM.

On Jan 11, the mobile service centre will be at Fu Sen Court in Hui Sing from 8.30am to 10.30am.

On Jan 15, it will be at Fresh Food Court in 7th Mile from 7.30am to 10am and Everise in BDC from 12pm to 3pm.

On Jan 18, the team will be at Lorong 2, Stampin Resettlement Scheme, from 8.30am to 11am.

On Jan 21, the team will be at Aeroville Mall from 3pm to 6pm.

On Jan 22, the team will be at Gala Food Court in GalaCity from 8.30am to 11am.

Kong encourages those who need assistance to visit its booths and bring along the required documents to expedite the application process.

The documents include a photocopy of the applicants’ identity card (self and spouse’s), marriage certificate, person with disabilities (OKU) card (if any), spouse’s death certificate (if any), divorce certificate (if any), and children’s birth certificates.

Kong urges those eligible to apply for BKM early and not to wait until the closing date to avoid any disruptions. — DayakDaily
