Customer care assistant claims trial to charges of committing criminal breach of trust

Man pleads not guilty to intimidation, causing hurt to wife.

KUCHING, Dec 5: A 19-year-old male, from Engkilili claimed trial before two different Magistrates here yesterday to committing criminal breach of trust involving RM204.

He faces six charges under Section 408 of the Penal Code which carries a jail term of up to 14 years or a fine, upon conviction.

Magistrate Faelly Jeffrey Lanjungan set December 13 and Magistrate Mohd Syukri set Jan 8, 2019 respectively for the hearing of the social report of the accused as he was a young offender.


The accused, who worked as a customer care assistant for a company, had allegedly embezzled a total of RM204 which had been entrusted to him at the company’s customer service department between September 3 and 23, 2018. — DayakDaily
